A team of us are heading out to Morocco in October to take on a 50kms High Atlas trek- a challenge that represents resilience, love, and determination.
We are doing it for all those who love someone living with dementia. We walk in support for families who give so much every day, and in honour of those they care for. This journey is about turning personal experiences into something meaningful. All funds raised will support The Dementia Experience to create free, vibrant groups, run by talented and professional artist, where people can connect, build confidence, feel less alone, & challenge stigma. Please dig deep and sponsor the team to keep moving forward.

Are you looking for a challenge that will make a massive difference?
This October, we’re taking on The 50km High Atlas Adventure in Morocco— not just as a physical trek, but as a powerful symbol of resilience, love, and determination. We’re walking for the brave family members who give so much, and in honour of those they love living with dementia. This life-changing adventure is a chance to challenge yourself, recharge, reflect, and turn personal experiences into something meaningful — all while helping raise vital funds to support families and carers, and bring nuggets of joy to those living with dementia. All funds raised will support The Dementia Experience — creating free, vibrant spaces where people can laugh, build confidence, feel less alone, and challenge stigma together. Ready to be part of something super special? Find out more here: https://www.tribaltracks.co.uk/.../the-dementia... This amazing 7 year old ran an incredible 5km challenge (which she absolutely smashed! 👏), and we are so proud of her achievement and grateful to all her donors! Crowdfunding For Good From JustGiving Nina has managed to raise just over £1000 and the money will be put towards two of our important projects. Her mum Caroline, one of our directors, gave "A huge thank you to everyone who supported Nina on her run. The money raised will go towards funding joyful activities for those who are caring for people with dementia- choirs, coffee mornings and concerts. These nuggets of joy help make the suffering more bearable. Nina is so proud of herself and couldn't have done it without all your support. Thank you!" Thank you Nina from us all💛 We’re over the moon to welcome our first Ambassador for Joy, Sian Reeves! An actor, presenter, and singer who has had a mega career- starting in the original Les Misérables cast at just 19!- Sian has long championed the power of music, memory, and connection—especially in dementia care. From Singing for the Brain workshops to her album Remember This and her uplifting YouTube channel WHO CARES, she’s dedicated to celebrating carers and communities. As our Ambassador, Sian will help spread joy, connection, and creativity—from Kent to her beloved homeland in Staffordshire and beyond—bringing people together through music and shared experiences. In Sian’s words: "Clara is such a wonderful light and force and I am thrilled to be part of The Dementia Experience gang. Let’s get people out, feeling safe, supported, and connected… that lift can make all the difference.” Thank you, Sian—let’s spread the joy! |
