If you're interested in becoming a Hummingbird volunteer, contact us & come to our next Induction Session. You'll learn about our mission, values & the difference we make in the lives of people living with dementia and their families. We'll explore what it means to be a Hummingbird, including the role you'll play in creating welcoming, joyful experiences & meaningful connections for our members.
We'll also cover the support available to volunteers, the benefits of volunteering, professional boundaries, safeguarding, communication skills and how we keep everyone safe. There will be opportunities for discussion, questions and interactive learning, helping you decide whether becoming a Hummingbird is right for you.
Whether you're looking to make a difference, share your skills, meet like-minded people or simply learn more about our work, we'd love to welcome you!
The next Induction Session will take place in Ashford on 9th September. Please email paramjot@dementia-experience to register your interest.
