Chuffed to bits to have been featured on BBC South East! Hugest thanks to our Phoenix Choir, led by the electrifying Carla Smith, who sing their hearts out & to the actor Reeves Sian for being our Ambassador for Joy :) In the trickiest of times, music is medicine, by-passing any trauma of forgetting the facts & holding on to the wonder that are the feelings.

She gave us such a playful & interactive workshop which helped us recharge & reconnect with our love of clothes.

We were so excited that BBC South East came to film us on this week at our Hawkhurst Phoenix Choir!

Our  Ambassador for Joy, Sian Reeves, was unable to join us on the day but she was very much there in spirit! 

We were so grateful to everyone who was able to make it- there was a huge amount colour & joy :) & Carla whizzed us up wonderfully & we raised the roof!

We are so grateful to Jenna, one of our volunteer directors, for sprinkling her gold dust that evening. Jenna is the founder of a new events company, Sync Inspire, & we were all so impressed by her effortless organisational skills & her imaginative approach to bringing people together. 

It was such a fab & fizzy atmosphere. We feel incredibly lucky to know one another, and be part of a such a dream team, that know how to work, and play!

Jess hadn’t run in nearly 20 years but decided in January to try again despite ongoing back issues and uncertainty about her limits. All funds raised will support The Dementia Experience to create free, vibrant groups, run by talented and professional artist, where people can connect, build confidence, feel less alone, & challenge stigma.

This amazing 7 year old ran an incredible 5km challenge (which she absolutely smashed! 👏), and we are so proud of her achievement and grateful to all her donors!
Crowdfunding For Good From JustGiving
Nina has managed to raise just over £1000 and the money will be put towards two of our important projects.

​Her mum Caroline, one of our directors, gave "A huge thank you to everyone who supported Nina on her run. The money raised will go towards funding joyful activities for those who are caring for people with dementia- choirs, coffee mornings and concerts. These nuggets of joy help make the suffering more bearable. Nina is so proud of herself and couldn't have done it without all your support. Thank you!"
